Meet Laurie Bryson…
Laurie has been a licensed professional counselor since 2004 and has spent more than two decades helping individuals and couples navigate some of life’s most painful and complicated struggles - infidelity, addiction, betrayal and relationship trauma.
Her approach is honest, compassionate, and deeply grounded in both professional expertise and real-life understanding. Clients often say that they appreciate how Laurie feels safe, engaging and refreshingly human - a place where they can be themselves without the fear of being judged or sitting through “boring therapy”.
Laurie is Level 3 trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) and is a Level 2 PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) therapist. She also serves as a Clinical Professional Contributor for Affair Recovery where she regularly appears on the podcast. She also serves on the EMS Weekend Intensive Therapy team where she leads groups and gives professional lectures.
She earned her Master’s Degree from Covenant Theological Seminary and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University.
Laurie is married to Caleb and they have two grown daughters, Grace & Evie. When she is not working with clients, Laurie can be found on the tennis court, playing with her yellow labs outdoors or making some sourdough.
Laurie, with a deep love for all things Peanuts and an avid follower of Charles Schultz's life, finds solace at the end of a long day by soothing herself with the antics of Snoopy.
Her Labrador retriever obsession knows no bounds, and in contemplating a return to another life, Laurie envisions herself as her beloved 95 lb yellow lab named Wilbur.
An alumnus and ardent fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Laurie takes pride in her association with the university.
Outside of her Peanuts passion, Laurie actively engages in playing and coaching high school girls tennis, adding a dynamic aspect to her interests.
Married to Caleb, Laurie takes joy in her role as a mother to her daughters, Grace and Evie.
Her comfort foods include potato chips of all kinds, and Laurie constantly immerses herself in audiobooks. Notably, she finds immense humor in using Snapchat filters on her pets, adding a lighthearted touch to her daily routine.
